| I don't know if you know this or not, but anyone can take a course and become a certified hypnotherapist. That means we really don't know if a hypnotherapist who creates and sells hypnosis CD's on EBay, Amazon, or anyplace else on the web are really qualified or any good at all. And psychology programs don't teach even one course on hypnosis. That means a therapist or a psychologist has training in psychology but not in hypnosis and a hypnotherapist has training in hypnosis, but not in psychology and the hypnosis training for most is very minimal. In fact, a therapist or PhD psychologist can take the same 2 week course any non therapist can take, and the public would be under the illusion that they were better qualified. But you now know that is not true. |
| That made me even more comfortable with Laura Pagano. She has a graduate degree in psychology from an accredited university, and she has a PhD in hypnotherapy. And since there are no accredited universities offering a masters degree or PhD in hypnosis, a person has to go outside the traditional realm if they are interested in pursuing advanced training in hypnosis. That education is quite time consuming and costly. Think about how dedicated a person has to be, to go through such a rigorus education for hypnosis. That is what makes Laura's audio programs so Truly AMAZING!
